Paley Rothman Co-President, Jim Hammerschmidt commented in the article "Downtown DC Firms Become an Increasingly Attractive Option for Suburban Lawyers" published on April 28, 2022.
The article considers the trend of larger firms attracting attorneys from area suburban firms with the appeal of a hybrid environment, and why suburban firms also remain enticing.
"When people join us from Big Law, it's frankly not really about the commute. It's about culture. Being able to bill your clients at a reasonable rate to keep them, and free of the conflicts in a big firm." notes Hammerschmidt.
Jim Hammerschmidt is Co-President of the firm, Chair of the Employment Law Group, and a member of its Litigation and Appellate Practice groups.
