Employment Law Chair and Paley Rothman Co-President, Jim Hammerschmidt was quoted by Law360 in Small Firms Leverage Size To Take On BigLaw In Talent War on November 28, 2022.

The article discusses the appeal of smaller law firms to upcoming attorneys and compares their benefits against larger firms. 

The work-life balance is far different in terms of what we expect in terms of billable time. And the work is very hands-on for our associates. There are a lot of opportunities to have contact with clients, for engaging in litigation, getting into court. For us, we think it is very important to get them [attorneys] involved," Hammerschmidt said.
