Jim Hammerschmidt, Principal and Jack Blum, Associate

Jim Hammerschmidt and Jack Blum (former Associate) wrote an article about the treatment of noncompete agreements by state legislatures that was published in Law360 on May 25, 2017.

The title of the article is: "Noncompete Agreements Under Siege At The State Level," and discusses several aspects of noncompete agreements such as complete prohibitions on enforcement, industry-specific prohibitions, low-wage employees, involuntary termination restrictions, notice requirements, independent consideration requirements, employee causes of action, and other types of restrictive covenants distinguished.
