James Rathvon gave a presentation on “Inert Data Compensation and Confidential Business Information (CBI)” at the Council of Producers & Distributors of Agrotechnology’s (CPDA) Inert Ingredients Symposium.
Jim, Chair of the firm’s Regulatory Law & Litigation practice group, spoke about current CBI issues and the status of the CPDA’s inert data compensation scheme under FIFRA (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act) and FFDCA (Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. The one-hour session also included a discussion of the ongoing efforts to develop a scheme for non-food use inert ingredients.
