Estate Planning and Estate & Trust Administration Principal Michelle Chapin moderated the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council's panel discussion, "Of Art and Science: Valuations in the Time of Covid-19 and Beyond" on Thursday, February 17, 2022.

Michelle Chapin, who is a member of Paley Rothman's Estate PlanningEstate & Trust AdministrationTax and Corporate practice groups, moderated the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council's panel discussion, "Of Art and Science: Valuations in the Time of Covid-19 and Beyond". The discussion focused on the on-going pandemic’s impact on business and asset valuations and whether continuing uncertainty presents gift and estate tax planning opportunities. The panel members also touched on lessons learned from the past two years of accelerated gift making and what the estate planning community should remember moving forward.
