Georgetown University - Critical Issues in Estate Planning

Paley Rothman's Estate Planning and Estate & Trust Administration attorneys Michelle Chapin and Jennifer Pope will be the speakers at Georgetown University's Reunion Weekend - Critical Issues in Estate Planning on June 4th at 8 A.M. EST. 

Michelle and Jenna will address common pitfalls and major mistakes seen in estate planning today and explain important tools and critical strategies to use to avoid them. This seminar will also highlight simple techniques for reducing risks and conflicts while minimizing taxes and expenses through common-sense estate planning approaches anyone can use to protect assets, instill family values, achieve charitable objectives, and avoid family conflict. Michelle advises individuals, families and business owners regarding their estate and gift planning needs. She works with clients to create comprehensive and customized estate and business succession plans to achieve their objectives and helps them implement lifetime gifting and post-mortem wealth transfer strategies.

Jenna works with individuals, families, and small business owners to design well-crafted estate plans that will evolve with the client. She understands the value of providing clear guidance to loved ones, with the goals of easing their burden while also providing assurance that a client’s wishes will be observed.
